IRC Command Guide
I found this guide may be helpful for a few members. I often find myself having to go looking for certain things to remember commands and such. This should cover all -serv commands and what they do.
Nickserv Commands
The following commands may be used as followed:
/msg nickserv
/msg ns
/ns
Nicknames not in use for 14 consecutive days will result in the registration of a username being removes automatically.
Confirm
/msg nickserv confirm PASSCOdE
Used to confirm passcodes when registering a nickname.
Help
/msg nickserv help
Shows all nickserv commands available for the server.
Identify
/msg nickserv identify PASSWORD
Used to identify a user whom has registered their nickname.
Info
/msg nickserv info USER
Shows connection information of a user.
Recover
/msg nickserv recover USER PASSWORD
Used to remove a ghost account or recover a registered user that is currently in use.
Register
/msg nickserv register PASSWORD EMAIL
Registers the current nickname you have set. A nickname must be registered to register a channel or gain automatic op in channels not moderated by Leif.
Resetpass
/msg nickserv resetpass
Resets a user's password. Good for lost passwords.
Chanserv Commands
The following commands may be used as followed:
/msg nickserv
/msg ns

/msg chanserv ban USER
Used to ban a user within a channel you are currently op in.
Drop
/msg chanserv drop #CHANNEL
Removes the registration from a channel.
Help
/msg chanserv help
Shows the full list of commands and their uses.
Info
/msg chanserv info #CHANNEL
Displays the information given during registration of a channel.
Invite
/msg chanserv invite #CHANNEL USER
Used to invite a specific user to a channel of your choice.
Kick
/msg chanserv kick USER
Used to kick a user from a channel you are currently op in.
Register
/msg chanserv register #CHANNEL DESCRIPTION
Used to register a channel to the current registered user you are in. User will automatically be gained OP and have the status of founder. Channel topics and automatic ops will be saved.
Unban
/msg chanserv unban USER
Removes the ban on a user in a channel you are op in.
Status
/msg chanserv status #CHANNEL
Displays the status of a registered channel.
List
/msg chanserv list OR /list
Shows the list of currently registered channels within a server.
There is also a long list of automatic op commands available but with the use of Leif, these aren't exactly needed.
